Hickory Tavern - Columbia

Cool place. Very good service. I got the 'Merican burger. It was a little dry. There wasn 't any type of sauce on it. The waitress did bring some ketchup packets however. The Mac n cheese was pretty good. There was a veggie burger ordered also. Was decent.

Great food, great drinks, great service. We were out to enjoy a relaxing dinner and we got it. Our server, Nina was brilliant and didn't rush us, but was very attentive. I want to finish drinks and appetizers first and then order dinner. I loved building their own salad that was excellent (fresh, different toppings available and was large enough to be a filling for me) and satisfying. My guests had their chicken and rice dishes and pulled pork sandwich, the two compliment was very delicious. We will definitely be back there for a meal or drinks and enjoy the atmosphere. Great sports bar also.

I had a meal of soft fish and crispy chips at Hickory Tavern with some great friends, and we really enjoyed the lively atmosphere and delicious food. I was completely satisfied with my experience at Hickory Tavern. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an excellent dining experience.

After a long day of travel, in this hidden jewel for a fast bite. Our server, Michelle, was fantastically very friendly and attentive. I had sat the regular wings on the Carolina Gold bbq sauce. The wings were delicious, the sauce was sweet and tangie, but I wish they were just a bit crispy. Still delicious. My MIL had the charred wings and they raves over them. I will definitely try to be in town next time.

Fantastic spot for watching sports events! We visited to catch the FIFA World Cup, and they had an enormous projector screen that I haven't seen at other restaurants or bars. The staff was wonderful; our waiter was incredibly patient with us while we were engrossed in the Argentina match. The food was tasty, and they offered an excellent selection of drinks, including a wide variety of beers and cocktails. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend it to others!
