The Oyster - Columbia

Excellent! As a foodie and an absolutely very week traveler I’d say it’s a definite must try. My future wife and I arrived on a Friday night and the place was very busy but got us a table in under 5 minutes. We sampled the menu with oyster shooters, hot crab dip, oyster sliders, dozen 12 cold oysters, and split a main course of veal pork chop, potatoes, corn on cob. I’d give all the food 5 stars except the veal. We each ate one bite and pushed it to the side, I would have took half star away but it wasn’t an option. The service was very friendly and always around even with a jacked house.

What an amazing venue! Super staff and amazing food for the right price! This tops the list of best restaurants in my book with staff to make your visit the best! Stay and dance the night upstairs, or enjoy a desert next door at the dessert Martini Bar! Don't miss this one.

Being born and bred in Maryland I know my seafood. I had the oyster slider, which was perfectly fried and wonderful. Also had the oyster taco which was just as good! Our server, Morgan, was always there just when she was needed without the feeling she was “hovering!” Love this place! Just booked it for my daughters grad dinner!

First visit, my boyfriend and myself went for Father's Day lunch. The hostess and waitress were very nice , friendly and attentive. He loves raw oysters and calamari which is what he had and loved it. I had fried shrimp which was AWESOME and my entree of shrimp and grits was good. Our meal service was very fast we will be back for sure. I'll be recommending this place.

I don't know how I lived in Columbia for 5 years without hearing much about Pearlz. My son reccomended it for Mothers Day and I wasn't eager but tried to stay open minded. I found a blog naming their fried shrimp some of the best in the state...and that was encouraging. My experience was great from beginning to end. The hostess and waitress were so nice and accommodating and I liked the casual upscale ambience. The dozen steamed oysters we ordered as an appetizer were delicious...and the fried shrimp entree was perfection ::: golden and lightly battered . pretty large portion ...LOVE this place and I look forward to returning.!
