La Cienega Mexican Grill Seafood

The food was delicious, the selection was impressive, and the service was excellent! The salsa bar was a delightful bonus too! There are far more seats inside than you might expect, so I highly encourage you to give this fantastic authentic Mexican restaurant a try!

Be prepared for a frustrating experience if you dine here. I had dinner there tonight and was thoroughly disappointed with the service. Each dish arrived at different times, often with a ten-minute gap between servings. The fajitas were served in parts, with the chicken arriving first and the rice and beans following another five minutes later. To top it off, there were no tortillas! When we requested them again, it took an additional five minutes. No one offered to refill our drinks until we complained about the service. One of the servers dismissed me when I asked for a refill, leaving me hanging. I was very disappointed and wouldn't consider bringing my family back. The manager was unprofessional in his response, and it was clear they were understaffed. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you're looking for a pleasant and quiet dining experience.

Love remodel/expansion. Food was better than ever! Had seafood fajitas that were amazing. Staff is still working out their kinks but nice, accommodating. Music was fantastic. We loved it!!!

I admit I am hard to please. I have been here twice now and I enjoy this restaurant very much. The food is top notch and packed with flavor. The service is attentive and not overwhelming. I never had to wait for a drink or check.Downside is limited parking and capacity. I suggest coming in an hour before or after rush time to avoid waiting.Parking: Very small parking lot but appropriately sized for restaurant capacity.

As frustrations mounted, our original waitress disappeared, and a new server took over. He couldn’t even provide the simple tortillas that should have accompanied our meals, which had already been served 10 minutes prior. When I requested a tea refill, he rolled his eyes at me, and I had reached my breaking point. I decided to speak with the manager. The manager was somewhat apologetic, but he only approached our table once and failed to address the terrible service we experienced. Ultimately, I was taken aback by the lack of effort to check on us or offer a genuine apology. Instead, he seemed to defend his staff, claiming that the restaurant was his and expressing concern that I might not pay the bill, which I fully intended to do. In fact, he asked me to leave, making for a truly terrible experience. With no management skills on display and such dismal service, it was an unfortunate outing. I wish we had chosen a different place so we could have enjoyed our family time in peace. Oh, and by the way, the food was mediocre at best.
