Contribuiți la feedbackI had heard great things about this place, and had been wanting to try it since moving here. We had tried a couple of times, but the parking lot was full. We finally went on a Sunday at 7:20am, and it was dead. I got 2 eggs scrambled, 2 pieces of bacon, and 3 pancakes. The eggs were typical of scrambled eggs, the bacon was okay, and the pancakes average, until I hit a chunk of baking soda that wasn't mixed in. That was really disgusting, but I washed it down with my average cup of coffee. I don't see any reason to return.
Great coffee, great staff, and delicious food. I 've eaten here twice for breakfast and tried something different each time. It was all good. Their biscuits are large and flavorful too. They had a rasberry jam on the table to put on your biscuits. They do have some not just your normal breakfast offerings.
This is a very good restaurant to go for a nice breakfast or brunch. We went here with our cousins for the 4th Of July weekend, and had lunch there. The food I ordered was good (I ordered three pancakes and a side of bacon, grits and a biscuit), however, I did find a dead fly baked into my pancake, which would have brought my food score down to one star, but it was a hot day and the staff were working as fast as they could. Either way though, I understand that something like this is unacceptable in the food and health industry. Even though that is the case, I always encourage patience and understanding with the staff in the case that something like this happens. In my case, I called a waiter over, explained the problem, and they kindly apologized and got me a brand new plate of pancakes with no additional charge.Speaking of the staff, the service times weren't great either, but once again, it was the 4th of July weekend, so I cut them some slack. We had a 45 minute wait, so we browsed around the nearby shops until our names were called. The atmosphere was good, all the decorations felt very homestyle and original, and if it weren't for the occasional fly buzzing by, I would have given the atmosphere five stars.Overall, an excellent place to eat, just maybe on a less, hot, less busy day.Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu available, with smaller portions, and there are high chairs available.Parking: There are not that many parking spots, probably because there are a lot of nice places in the area, and depending on how busy it is, it can be very difficult to find parking.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, not much else to say.
This place rocks! My wife and I love coming here for breakfast when we're in town. Come early though! It seems like they're always packed especially around 10 12. Parking can kind of be a pain but it's much better here than at the location in Athens.Food: 5/5
The only reason why I gave it a 3 on service is because it was our first time here. The host never told us once our table was ready that we had to order first before we sat down. We didn't have much time to look over the menu because there was a kine forming behind us. Had we been told this, we would've been ready to order. We will give this place another try.
