Pulaski Heights Barbecue - Athens

Finally tried the brisket ramen. The brisket was perfect, the collard greens, the noodles the thick cut bacon all perfect. But the broth was sooooooo unbearably salty and devoid of any other flavour that it ruined the whole dish

Service was great. Food came fast. Baked beans and pulled pork were very good. Ribs were pretty good too. BBQ sauce was not sweet but definitely had the tomato base.Food: 4/5

Dined a few hours ago. They were out of all meat except smoked chicken, which by luck, I was agreeable to dining upon as I had a strange craving for chicken(found out later that the day was national fried chicken day ,... but the PH Bbq smoked is most excellent! Opted for ? salad and slaw...two cold sides..perfect for a warm, humid evening on their patio. Sadly...no trains roared by during my visit. IMHO ...trains and que go hand in hand. Pulaski Heights takes it to a whole 'nother level (particularly if trains are rolling through! Chuck and staff always deliver the que!

Recommend: The CHOPPED BEEF BRISKET was amazingly great! You could try different sauces on the table but it was already delicious with the original flavor. Not for me: The collard greens were way too sour. It is one of my favorite Southern dishes but this one came with too much sourness.Food: 4/5

Spoke with owner, Chuck about an delivery order, he was rude and would not listen to a customer, not willing to issue a refund or any compromise at all. . Order was placed online, order was cancelled immediately after seeing 1lb of BBQ if $9 a lb, came to over $30 then due to cancellation restaurant still charged $19 and change for cancelling. The 1 lb of BBQ almost tripled in cost. Order place with 3rd party but restaurants still have control on issuing a refund he refused and I could not or a driver have picked it up due to being “closed”. This is terrible customer service and this is coming from a business owner. I have not and never will eat at this restaurant. This is a sign greed and not customer service.
