Saucehouse Bbq - Athens

Nicest service ever. The bartenders are as nice as they say. We were passing through Athens on a road trip and stopped for lunch with our dog. The bartender, who makes the best spicy **** Mary ever, welcomed us into the bar and got us free dessert as first timers. All of the food was incredible. Tender brisket, massive baked potatoes, and awesome hash. Thanks y’all!

The food was okay, the portions were small. The noise, of course, it was game day, was loud.

My favorite meal at Saucehouse is the pulled pork sandwich, baked beans, Mac n cheese and banana pudding! It’s delicious and everything tastes freshly made. The workers are always so friendly and anxious to be sure you are happy. If you have small children, there’s even a little area for the kids to play!

My wife and I really like this place. They have really good BBQ and a wide array of sauces from wimpy and/or sweet stuff to set you on fire stuff. But even the firey stuff isn 't just hot, it has good flavor, too--at least until you burn off your taste buds. They also have good breakfast as well (but only on Saturday and Sunday for now). It 's kind of your standard breakfast fare, but it tastes good and is reasonably priced. Oh, and the bread pudding is awesome!

I go to Saucehouse every Sunday, and always have a great time. With the restaurant having weekly deals, my favorite meal there is only 4$ and I get to enjoy the fun atmosphere and always friendly bartenders. The restaurant has a large amount of parking, and has an open outdoor section within its property, with lots of tv’s and chairs to watch the games. I love coming here with friends and I have no complaints about the food or staff.
