Groppo - Zadar

We had a great experience at Groppo - the staff was very friendly and attentive! However, there were limited vegan options. I couldn't have the vegetarian pasta due to the egg in the pasta, but they kindly offered to make it with rice instead. The vegan Bruschetta was also delicious. I would definitely recommend this place! (Updated from previous review on July 26, 2022)

This restaurant is perfect for a lovely dinner. They offer delicious aperitifs and a selection of vegan dishes. I ordered the vegan truffle pasta with a side of grilled vegetables which were both very satisfying. The portions were very generous.

It was a lovely meal that I got to enjoy with my partner, lovely service. They have a small section of vegan dishes which was lovely to see, I would definitely recommend this place

When asked if they had vegan options, they said they only had a salad and then proceeded to question us about our lifestyle, pretty much saying it was pointless. Ended up leaving.

Some of the best vegan food I've had at a non-vegan place. The menu was extremely clearly marked with a vegan section, and better yet every other dish indicated whether it had eggs, milk, or gluten. They were also very accommodating about modifications. They made me the veal and truffle gnocchi without dairy or veal and it was AMAZING. I want to go back and order that same dish again.
