Mr Cod - Wycombe

The food was terrible. Fish was drenched in oil. Chips looked a week old. I would definitely not recommend them.

Didn’t give me no flipping cheese on my **** chips. bare fckin jarring. normally they’re aight tho.

I ordered Fish and a small chips. They re-fried re-warmed the chips which had been standing on the side in a frying basket. I sat in my car to eat them and the chips were the worst I have had in years. I couldn't tell what kind of fish it was but it was awful as well. I had to throw the fish away as I couldn't stomach it. Hard in places and soggy mush in others. Just terrible!

Shame on you Mr Cod, always been my favourite, but now serving half portions for the same price. Time to go elsewhere ...

I asked a friend whether Mr. Cod sold scampi and her answer was, “of course they do, all fish chip shops sell scampi.” Sadly, when I looked at the menu on their wall I found they sell “scabby”. Definitely not for me!
