Shitake Sushi & Thai - Woodbridge

I never leave reviews but I had to with this place. I used to come here and never had a bad experience. Not sure what happened but this place went completely downhill. Went in on a Monday night, it was ghost town. We were the only table in there. Food was OK, nothing special and well overpriced. The server became more rude as our dinner went on. Our waters were empty, so we had to get up and fend for ourselves. She ignored us, and would only come to our table if we waved her down. AND… when she did come to our table she would be on the phone speaking to whomever through her AirPods.Not to mention, the washroom was DISGUSTING. Considering the place was dead someone should really attend to those washrooms. If you’re thinking of coming here, don’t. I’d opt for any other all you can eat sushi places in the area. AND, if you do happen to come here, make sure you stay as far away from those washrooms as possible.

I liked the variety of options especially including the Thai touch.

Came here for lunch today with 2 other people and I gotta say how upset I was with the food and the service of this place. The food was extremely disappointing as the rice provided was so dry we thought that it has been left in the cooker for days. The salmon and the roll were also dry as a bonus of course. The most disturbing thing for me was the server. She was rude the moment we entered the restaurant. My friend only asked her one question if the restaurant provided a different menu for all you can eat option and her response was “you said you want bento box”. What kind of owner would hire a server like that? During the meal, I asked for some items like cups with ice and sauces with please and thank you at the end but all she replied was “yeah” or she just nod her head as her response. She also slammed dishes and make terrible noise which also affect our appertize during our meals. I could not believe that a sushi place would allow service like this. We paid $60 for the whole meal and it was not expensive at all. However, the food and the service is not even worth the $60 we spent. I will never come back to this place ever again and anyone reads this review should avoid this restaurant by all cost.

I hate to do this but it was the worst sushi I had in my life. Everything tasted old and stale. The sushi rice was so hard, the chicken from the hot dishes tasted stringy, chewy and old. I don't understand why they wouldn't use fresh ingredients. I'll never come back they need to take more pride in their food.

Went there today and may I say I don’t like to leave negative reviews as business need the money but I was extremely disappointed! I walked in at 11:30 am today with my friend for a nice lunch date we sat down and started ordering once we got our food I noticed the staff was never attending our table or even looking to see if we need help I had raised my hand multiple times and was ignored by our servers they were chatting and sitting I then got hold of one and got a drink , food was not worth the high expectation I had , my friend found hair in her food and server brushed it off and stated it was fibre and it was disgusting turned me off it was very over priced for a very bad restaurant also when we got the iPad the server slammed it on the table and didn’t help us figure it out please dodge this place
