Sushiya - Williamsburg

One of the best Japanese restaurants I visited!? Service is great and the food is even better! You have to try the tempura and the beef is excellent! The sushi? A little expensive, but fantastic food quality. A hidden gem?! Great! Service is fantastic!

The female server is absolutely wonderful - no problems w/ service. That was our go-to Asian restaurant in the city for Sushi hibachi. I think how many companies they are fighting, but the quality of food really went down. Meat was questionable, got the wrong product could not even eat it.

Some unique elements in their menu. Everything we had really tasted good, but they were from some of the elements on their menu that we wanted to try. If they try the habanero tuna, really good.

The first time two days ago. There was not someone at the time when people started reaching the waitress. No refills, had to get their attention several times. The food was good, though incredibly expensive for the lack of service that was given. The waitress was rude, it could be either from culturally acceptable behavior or just too much work for a person. If you want a 5-star service, please don't go here. Staff can make a place or break.

I've had sushi from a lot of restaurants. Sushiya is by far the best place I've ever been. Every time my wife and I go elsewhere it just doesn't compare. We love coming here, the staff are half the reason we love it. They are always super nice and great to talk with. We'd eat here weekly if money wasn't a problem.
