Great little jem inside the Dewitt museum. Usually less crowded than the rest of the places in Colonial Williamsburg for lunch. Wonderful soups, chili, and mac'n'cheese. Good sandwiches and salads. Bright and cheery with outdoor patio seating. Hit it either going into the museum or to restore yourself after.
Ate at this Cafe a little bit ago service was extra slow and food was decent but very overpriced lady cashier Monica was very rude and did not give me my annual pass discount when I asked her about it she was very rude and said I had to give it to her before purchase I will not be earing at this Cafe again ....shame on them for treating guest so badly
This is a good stop for a light lunch in a quiet place. The Cafe is now located in the new museum addition. The large dining area has floor to ceiling windows looking out onto a patio (outdoor dining tables available). The food is priced in line with the historic area and offered basic, tasty fare. The corn chowder is thick creamy and my Cuban sandwich was good as well. Each meal is assembled upon ordering so if there is a crowd the line can build. The staff was very friendly hard working and was doing their best to move the line. It's a very nice place to enjoy a meal.
Only would come back if was extremely thirsty for grab and go drink. Service was slow even when not busy. Sandwiches all pre-made and warmed up. See phot for their version of a Cuban.
