Contribuiți la feedbackRude staff refused to seat us because we were just before close. It was 8:24 and they close at 8:30. Good business is to open five minutes early and close five minutes late. What’s the point in posting hours if you’re not going to honor them? Not to mention 8:30 close? They don’t open until 4:30 to begin with. A reputable steak house can’t stay open until 9:00 or 10:00 in a high traffic tourist area? Very disappointed.
The food was delicious. The service was amazing. I would definitely recommend.
Great place to eat. Delmonico steak was delicious and cooked perfectly! My husband said it ranked as one of the best steaks he has had. No need for any steak sauce. The combo plate with mahi and scallops was good. I was a little disappointed that the mahi was a little dry but the scallops were good. Baked potatoes come out piping hot and they bring all kind of toppings to the table. Bread is served with the food. A cute little appetizer is brought to every table of cheese and crackers.
Wonderful wait staff and quiet atmosphere. A little pricey, but good food.
There are many choices in Williamsburg especially on Richmond Rd. We discovered the restaurant about 7 months ago. It is now our must go to restaurant. Think of the old fashioned steakhouses where they still have matches and mints at the counter : All the food is excellent. Though I do not eat the cheese, they better never do away with the cheese and crackers! They put salad and baked potato toppings on from a server carousel which they bring to your table. The rolls are fresh made. The ribs were great along with the sauce. They tempt you with one onion ring as a garnish. I was ready to go back in the kitchen and take the whole book they had back there : The prices are reasonable. Not a tourist trap but a local institution. A hidden secret within all the other restaurants on Richmond Road. Eat where the locals eat is the best rule of thumb. We are not locals but day trippers ourselves.
