Wah Mei - Wilkes-Barre

We've been eating here or getting takeout for 20 years, and it's still fantastic! The consistency of the quality is impressive. The portions are generous, and the food is always delicious. Plus, the place is very clean.

We complained and they listened. For years I have enjoyed the food here, but in the last few I've noticed the taste has reduced in quality. (having an old grease taste). But lately they seem to have cleaned up their act. I hope it stays that way.

I ordered orange chicken tonight and while I was waiting in the parking lot, I witnessed a confrontation between a group of Black women and a white guy who had called them "ghetto." Despite that unsettling scene, I have to say the food was better than ever!

They were all wearing masks so great. We phoned our order in ahead. The amount of time they gave was perfect, they were just bagging it up when I arrived. The food... Where to start... Appetizer I guess. Best cheese won tons ever. So delicious, great texture, obviously not sitting around but freshly made. Everything was obviously freshly made. I tried the roast pork with Chinese veggies. Hubby tried shrimp with Chinese veggies. Both dishes were delicious with crisp veggies. We asked for no rice and they didn't skimp on food. The roast pork was probably the best I ever had, it was delicious and not at all dry. Both dishes were really saucy but I think it's because they are used to the rice soaking some up. But overall... So happy. They don't take credit cards and they don't deliver but as long as I have the cash, I will be back!!

The food is very tasty and ready when you get there.
