Ho Yi - Wilkes-Barre

The hunan beef and pork fried rice at Ho Yi's restaurant was exceptional! They truly make the best Chinese food in the Wyoming Valley.

I spent $20 on two sweet and sour chicken dishes and I was disappointed. The only good part of the dish was the sweet and sour sauce. The rice was bland and had nothing else in it except for pork. The rice had no flavor and seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. The chicken was dry and lacked moisture. I took a few bites and ended up throwing it away. I will not be ordering this dish again.

I recently tried the Hunan Huh dish at this restaurant, and it was just as spicy as I requested. It was absolutely delicious. It seems like they really cater to their customers' spice preferences, which I appreciate. The flavors remind me of a mix between Thai, Indian, and Chinese cuisine. The pork porridge was also delicious and did not lack any flavor, despite what a previous review said about MSG. The food had a clean taste, and I did not regret trying it. I would go out of my way to visit this Chinese-inspired restaurant again. Overall, I think they deserve a 5-star rating.

Go somewhere else. the food is ever tasteless or it is taste spoiled.
