Colarusso's Pizza - Wilkes-Barre

If you order takeout, be sure to add at least 10 extra minutes to the pickup time they give you. I found myself waiting an additional 20 minutes on multiple occasions from the time they quoted me. It shouldn't be this hard to communicate and set realistic expectations for food preparation times. I really hate to leave such a review, but it's essential for anyone who wants to enjoy their delicious pizza without the stress of long waits. The management needs to take customer feedback seriously and implement some simple changes to improve service. A little extra help and organization would go a long way!

Absolutely fantastic Italian seafood dishes, complete with all the expected sides, and of course, delicious pizza. All the food is homemade and authentically Italian. When it gets busy, you can order at the counter and then choose your drink, whether you'll dine standing or at a table. You won't be disappointed!

I ordered my pizza over the phone and arrived on time, but ended up waiting for what felt like ages to pick it up. When I finally got it and opened the box in my car, I was disappointed to find it was barely warm. The restaurant definitely needs to have someone dedicated to taking orders and another to wait on customers. The woman handling the orders was touching dirty dishes, clean food, credit cards, and cash without sanitizing her hands in between. With COVID still a concern, this is completely unacceptable and goes against Health Department guidelines!

Absolutely amazing Italian food! This is definitely a gem in Hanover Township. The food is some of the best I ever had. Huge portions for not a lot of money and the quality is always out of this world. I never had anything that wasn't mouth watering and completely satisfying. The staff is equally amazing and make you feel like part of the family, not just a customer. This is a must stop if you're in the area and want some authentic Italian food!

Mama is the sweetest old lady in the world. Great tripe and pizza.
