Contribuiți la feedbackThe service at this restaurant was outstanding and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Ethiopian cuisine is served family-style and traditionally eaten with injera bread. The bread was exceptional and the dishes were delicious. We began our meal with sambusas, a flavorful variation of samosas that were just the right amount of spicy. Our favorite entrees were the lamb alicha and the vegetarian sampler. We also tried the short ribs and the sirloin tips, which were tasty but a bit dry due to the lack of sauce (intentional). The servings were generous and reasonably priced. It is recommended to go with a group so you can try a variety of dishes. I have rated this restaurant 4 stars, as I have been to other Ethiopian restaurants that I consider 5-star quality. If I could, I would give it 4.5 stars. Overall, it is definitely worth a visit!
This restaurant is without a doubt my favorite. I absolutely love Ethiopian cuisine, and this place serves the best. I have tried Ethiopian food in various cities like NYC, Washington D.C., LA, Amsterdam, and San Diego, but nothing compares to this restaurant. Whether you are a vegetarian or a meat-eater, there is something for everyone to enjoy: Lamb, cabbage, carrots, potatoes, lentils, fish...I have tried it all and it's all delicious. It is a small, family-owned establishment that offers top-notch food, reasonable prices, excellent service, and a charming atmosphere. Whenever I am in Washington D.C., I always make sure to visit Etete, no matter what.
Open table or restaurant should let people know that we come out of town when the restaurant is permanently closed.
I came to this restaurant to find it no longer in operation. OpenTable must stop reservations for it.
Wow! Great food! Great service! Thank you. Thank you.
