Chuy's - Vestavia

Excellent good and service. No waiting to be seated. Good came out very hot and drinks were consistently filled. Our waitress kept our table with plenty of napkins, wasn't overbearing but right on time with anything we needed. The food was very worth it and I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone that hasn't tried it

For west coast visitors: This place doesn 't disappoint. I stopped in for lunch and after being served with chips and pico, I could tell from the first dip this place isn 't like the rest around here. The pico spice level was higher then I 've seen most anywhere and it was just right but for the average person it is probably too hot but this is a Mexican restaurant, it 's not supposed to cater to your tastes, you 're supposed to conform to the food or why are you here? So from the start, I was impressed. Then I ordered the nachos and the steak burrito and the nachos aren 't the traditional nachos, they 're more like a cut up Mexican pizza into quarters which is just as well. The steak in the burrito was very high quality, definitely tasted good. Thumbs up for sure, I 'll be visiting this place again as it 's the first Mexican restaurant in the Birmingham area that hasn 't disappointed.

I ?? me some Chuy?s?. All day every day. I?m serious. As far as chain restaurants, only second to Papasitos. Unfortunately the second place is because of the service. I?m new to Bham. Haven?t been here permanently but about 9 months and I?ve been here a few times but the service isn?t as good as the food and the service sells any dine in restaraunt in my opinion. Soooo, I thought take out would be good and I went to pick up for the entire office. Well, let me just say, the curbside pick up was an exact replica of dining in. Had an appointment to pick up, during my lunch hour, and it took Alma the entire hour to go pick up and get back. ? wasn?t mad but a little frustrated. So I just enjoyed my food and waited to post my review. So here it is. I DON?T LIKE GIVING NEGATIVE REVIEWS?. but I cannot lie?. Only the food gets the five stars.

We came in a busy night, so we sat at the bar. The food was okay. The service was good. That's why I give an extra star. The bathroom was disgusting. Blood on the stable door and floor. I'm sorry that's not a picture. This picture comes from the bathroom of women. I pray this is not a black form. Either way? I let Chuy know for weeks, but they never reacted. I hope it took care of it.

Chuy is always great, even if they have become a bit expensive. Nothing like these freshly made tortillas! Can also not go wrong with the creamy Jalapeno-Dip! The service was almost always excellent, although they are usually busy. Outside seating and views are also great.
