Whole Foods Market - Vernon Hills

Great local Whole Foods. In an area with a lot of restaurants. So many fresh sweets and breads. Everything is just a little pricey but that’s expected.

As a vegetarian, I find the Hot Bar really disappointing. It's been declining since they opened in 2017 and recently they removed a whole section of options. There are very few options now. And honestly, what is available always looks old and dried out and not at all fresh. And why cook vegetables with chicken stock? That's unnecessary and gives vegetarians even fewer options. I'm probably going to give it one more chance but that's it. It's too bad. I hope they can add more options and keep the selections fresher.

I often go to this wfm when I visit my family in the suburbs and it is a very nice location overall and newer. I found many vegan options throughout the business. Typically, WFM sites in the suburbs will not have so many vegan options available in the hot bar, but I never had a hard time finding something for me here.

The choice of hot bars is quite terrible. when they first opened, they would be vegan white bean ravioli, a few Indian dishes, and often a vegan nudel soup. now they do not expose vegan gravur yet vegan kartoffels, each Indian plate is made with milk, they put milk in objects as easy as brussels sprouts, and they put the same curry pumpkin suppe four days in order. they had vegan generally tso huh but seemed to have hired that too. in short, they offer only carb-heavy dishes, so to buy everything from substance, they need to pay a poor and a bit to fill their likes, with minimal protein content to boot. best to skip all these foods completely.

Whenever I visit my family in the suburbs, I frequently visit this WFM location. It is a newer and very pleasant place overall. I was pleased to find a variety of vegan options throughout the store, including at the hot bar. Despite typically having fewer vegan options at suburban WFM locations, I have never had trouble finding suitable choices here.
