The staff at Tavern Steakhouse went above and beyond to accommodate our last-minute reservation. It was the ideal spot to celebrate our son's graduation from the Naval Academy. Thank you for a fantastic dinner with exceptional service!
The service at this restaurant was amazing and the ambiance was whimsical. We started our meal with the Prosciutto Burrata, which was exceptional. While the entrees are typically delicious, two out of our three dishes were overly salty, even for someone who enjoys sodium. We could only manage to take a few bites of the Broiled Gulf Shrimp Parmesan Crusted Chicken Breast. However, the filet received high praise from one member of our group who is sensitive to salt. The side of Brussels sprouts with Neuske bacon was tasty, but we recommend asking for it with light oil. We didn't mention the issue with the shrimp and chicken to the staff, but I'm sure they would have been accommodating if we had. It seems like it was just an off night in the kitchen. Overall, we recommend this restaurant, especially for their signature steaks. We will definitely be returning!
I had a wonderful dining experience at The Tavern on Friday, March 29th. The service was top-notch and the food was delicious. We started with the smoked salmon appetizer, followed by a perfectly cooked 8-ounce filet topped with blue cheese and mushrooms. I will definitely be returning!
This is my favorite place to go in the area. We love the unusual decor, the service, and the food overall. My broiled shrimp was outstanding. My husband found his pork chop to be a little dry and boring. The crème brûlée was a wonderful desert to end our evening with. Great job!!
