Nirvana Wine Grillerie - Vernon Hills

Excellent food that I have enjoyed for many years. We used to eat there at least once per week and we catered food for our work get togethers, which were at least monthly. Our family would even eat there on weekends. HOWEVER, the price point is now so high that it is no longer feasible. There are other places to get great food and/or a great salad that doesn't cost $19 $25!!! It's SALAD! Our corporation would love to utilize you for catering again or even go out as a group again for lunch, but that won't happen until you address your outlandish pricing.

The ambience is great and the place is clean. But the food could have been more flavorful . They have a huge collection of wine too. Tacos was good other than for the Avocado purée which simply didn’t work well with the tacos. The main courses we ordered were a little disappointing. The brownie dessert was simply superb. So kind of have a mixed opinion about this place.

Food was not very fresh, super small portions for the price (and not fine). The service took forever. The staff was not welcoming and not attending to our needs. No hello, no goodbye and no smile. The wine I ordered was overpriced but tasted cheap and acidic. Too bad, the atmosphere is warm, but there is nothing more to it. Bad value for money, stay away.

Row chicken on the plate, no good for cocktails , nice service but we couldn’t even know the name of our waitress. Small place in a mall area.

This place is awsome in every way. The service, the food and the wine. All made from scratch. I have the Ahi Tuna which is about the best I have ever had. Wife had the mushroom ravioli again awsome. The carrot cake was the icing on the visit DELICIOUS. the manager Danny very nice guy and the staff was friendly and easy to talk to. Live music as well. In Verona Hills and want fine dining, here it is.
