Contribuiți la feedbackI had a unique dining experience at Kinemi's Kitchen. I wasn't expecting the traditional Italian pasta to be fantastic, but it was average with great portions. The food was comforting but not particularly fresh. The restaurant is run by a husband and wife team in a small and messy dining room. It was very quiet during lunch hour with only one other table occupied (which was mine). The prices are a bit high for the quality of food served, as the sauces did not taste fresh or made with daily care. Overall, I don't see myself returning for another lunch. Please note that they only accept cash payments.
This restaurant is a family-owned business. The pasta dishes were quite enjoyable, with a good variety of both pasta and seafood options. Smaller appetites can easily share a dish due to the generous portions. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you receive. However, the flavors were a bit bland. The service was minimal and not very friendly. It seemed like it may have been close to closing time, but it was still disappointing.
According to the reviewer, the food at this restaurant is not up to par considering the prices they charge. The service is also lacking, as the food is sloppily delivered to the table. The overall quality in terms of color, texture, and taste is reminiscent of pre-cooked grocery food that has been reheated. The reviewer suggests that they have had better meals at a store or gas station.
Inside is freezing I kept my winter jacket all the time. The printed menu provided has not listed any specials, only the board noted the special lobster linguine. It's just cash! Luckily there is a convenience store with an ATM next door.... It is very naked bones, simple, casual and has Japanese decor. Just another table around 11 on a rainy Tuesday. Little warmth lamp that didn't help much and play a local radio station. I ordered the lobster Linguine of course! It steamed hot, with a generous amount of pasta, a whole half lobster, which was delicate, well flavored, and for me seems like a good price for half a lobster. It was covered with a cheese and a beautiful sauce. Krustengemüse such as carrots, yellow peppers and either zucchini or cucumber, plus onions in the rose sauce it was okay, but I usually hate vegetables in pasta. On the other table sat a Japanese couple who had spoken with the owner in Japanese almost all the time, but their loud chatter doesn't add anything to the already missing ambience. I'd come back if I were in the area, but it's kind of in the middle of nowhere...
This tiny restaurant located in resident area in Champlain Heights neighbourhood, very small one with about 18 to 20 ppl max. It is a Japanese Italian style restaurant run by the Japanese couple. Due to limit staff, better go earlier than late. Their cut off...time is 6:50pm since they close at 8pm. The food was amazing out of my expectation with the price I was paying for. We did not order any salad but they have a list of choices. We ordered the linguine with prawns in a garlic white wine sauce $17 and Spaghetti Carbonara for $10 and a Chicken Pesto Pizza $9. It can beat the pasta charged with a higher rate than other places.
