Laurannae - Tulsa

Stopped in after seeing it on the desserts section of google. The place I was going was closed and decided to give this a shot! Parking is a bit difficult, but I luckily found a spot not too far. I ordered a Banana Cupcake and the Vietnamese Iced Coffee. I asked the cashier her favorite drink and she asked if i liked sweet or not sweet, I love sweet and she recommended it. The coffee is deliciously sweet. I'm not sure if I missed them but I was HAPPY to see they were not offering straws. The cups have a built in mouth spout. The reason for 3 stars is because after buying the banana cupcake I realized I should make sure there were no nuts. Neither girl in the store knew if it did or not, and they proceeded to ask me if it did? I responded with I'm allergic so not willing to fond out if you guys aren't sure. They tried calling a few people but didn't know any of the bakers numbers. I feel this is important as it's life or death for me. They did offer me a different cupcake but I declined and let them know I'd just mash it up at home to check! The cupcake did NOT have nuts. Overall the taste was lacking unlike the coffee. It took a while to soften up due to the holding case temperature but wasn't the freshest. I was hoping the icing was as good as it looked but it had such an over sweetened artifical taste. The cake part was a little hard, did not taste of banana. It tasted like plane yellow cake, but it was really moist! It also had freeze dried banana chips on top I would have rated 5 stars if they had the allergen info posted or knew it regardless of the cupcake taste. The coffee was amazing and the cupcake was beautiful. I would suggest this for people without allergies!

The perfect little getaway in the downtown area. This place has such a warm atmosphere and the baristas have always been very kind to me. I remember one time I came in and ended up having a really great conversation with one of the baristas for probably a good hour. Not only was the customer service awesome but the drinks did not disappoint! I thought it was nice how they had come up with such creative drinks that were a little fun, but still not too much out there. My favorite things to get are the cardamom rose latte or the dirty coconut chai. This sweet little place can do no wrong, 11/10 would recommend.

Such a neat place, just fell in love and will definitely be back. Plus the coffee and bakery items are awesome.
