Fagn - Trondheim

Good location, very nice and friendly staff, the toilets are clean and have everything they need. it was good, but maybe the portions were too small. one of my friends was still hungry after dinner (we ordered the large tasting menu. Besides the wine pairing they also have an original alcohol-free pairing that we enjoyed (and also fresh the next morning haha. a very pleasant experience

Last week I had the chance to visit fagn bistro. I decided to go for a 3-course menu as they can choose whether they want 3 or 5 course menu, they can also have a Wee pairing. when I went for a champagne (pierre brocard cuvee, I can only recommend it. when it was served around the meal, homemade broth, which was first served, was delicious, with butter from røros and lamb prosciutto. starter was a red fish arctic char and acidic saw. (not fan of raw fish, but combination of all ingredients was delicious. the main course was my favorite, it was a wild boar and dessert was yogurt by røros. I wish I could describe the meal more, but all the dishes are presented at the table by köchen. can also be presented by waiter before beginning. the waiter who served me was very skillful, I could see that he had an eye on a detail and took care of everything. I could see a little hurry from other waitress, but all the tables were occupied, could be understandable. because it was full, something was too loud, so sometimes I had a problem to catch the whole presentation of the meal or something from our conversation. also water was filled at any time and they can enjoy their table for 2 1/2 hours.

Amazing! we had their five cures in fagn bistro and everything was so good! we eat a lot, so we are kind of picky what we like, but all they have served was really 10/10. the personal was super friendly, service thanked and attentive. Maybe the best we ever had in norman. we are coming back to the final!

We had a nice evening with the 5 cursor tasting hearty. we had a few hiccups, a poor piece of lamb and our dessert lost in delivery. the food was great and the service excellent. the meat we sent back led to an apology and the offer to get it “the right way” after they tested it in the kitchen. this really showed a good peculiarity in the quality of the food and the excellent service. we come back to the final, high-quality products and beautiful taste and texture combinations. excellent service. the place was very busy, with 2 large tables, and this made the noise level a little difficult to conduct a conversation. could be an idea to put some noise management panels in the room to alleviate this.
