Imperial Tralee

The service at this restaurant was quite good. The food was also enjoyable, especially the fried brie chunks I had for a starter. The location of the restaurant is great and the atmosphere of the room is unique. I found the bed to be comfortable, but my wife did not share the same opinion. The shower was satisfactory. However, there were a couple of issues with the room. There was no chair, which was needed. The bathroom door had a clear, full-length window without frosting, which provided no privacy. I have stayed in hotels all around the world and have never encountered this before. The door should be replaced immediately. I mentioned this upon checkout, but the employee seemed skeptical. It is hard to believe that anyone would think it is a good idea to have a clear window in a bathroom door.

I would like to share my experience at this establishment with you. As a Ukrainian residing in Ireland under Temporary Protection, I am grateful for the support of our Irish friends who have kept us safe. The Imperial Hotel has provided accommodation for me and my fellow countrymen, funded by the state at no cost. While my girlfriend stays at the hotel, I live in Kanturk, which is 65 km away. I recently visited her over the weekend and had a wonderful time in Tralee. The town is a charming resort destination with shops, parks, waterfront, and easily accessible transportation from the hotel. The young Irish staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating. Upon my arrival on my bike, they promptly assisted me with finding a secure spot for it while serving us tea. The dining room was cozy and the rooms were spacious enough for two people. The food at the restaurant was delectable. Overall, my stay at the hotel was fantastic and I wish them continued success with their guests.

The food is delicious, the staff is always helpful and friendly. As a local, I can't speak to the quality of their rooms, but I would trust that they are good.
