We arrived shortly after opening, and only three tables were not reserved. A reservation or at least calling ahead is recommended. The menu is exclusively on little chalkboards, and as with most small restaurants, the beer and wine selection is limited but still tasty. We tried the soup à l’onion (French onion soup) for a starter, and it seemed to be made with a vegetable broth and raclette cheese. The mains were memorable. I tried the magret de canard, which was their take on the classic duck à l’orange; and my partner had the entrecôte, which was a quite well prepared ribeye. On the whole, we both enjoyed the place, and if we were staying longer in Toulouse, we would return for another dinner. Recommended!
What happiness!!! Well done to the person in the ultra but ultra efficient room!! And in the kitchen!!! The ravioli are just so perfect that you’ll have to ask for the recipe Everything is very good like at home with grandma but better Best wishes
Very good experience at Dahu. Unfortunately the waitress was alone, which lengthened the service time. She bought us a drink and remained in an excellent mood, thanks to her!
The menu is written on a slate, placed in front of us and another server takes 3 minutes after without asking us if we had made our choice. Then we had to wait for our 40-minute entrance, a shame. The people who arrived after us were served before...The magret in general asks what cooking is desired. There, the magret was fired because raw, and we were not the only ones to send the magret back to the kitchen, but it's very good and the plates are well presented.
I went there with a friend for a quick meal before taking the plane back to London. What a pleasant surprise! Service was nice, waitress was friendly and polite. We started with 2 pastis as aperitifs, went for the 2 course menu at €18.50 and a red wine pichet. My tartare of shrimp was very nice with a little kick of chilie and the cassoulet (local specialty) was nice and tasty. For a total of €56 for the two of us it was a very good deal in my opinion.Well located close Place St Pierre with lots of bars, I highly recommend it. :)
