While the service and ambiance were super and the staff friendly and very welcoming, much was left to say...about the meal offered for this occasion. While the turkey itself was nicely done, although there were numerous additional items available to sample i.e. cold cuts, cheeses, sushi, fruit desert, maybe greater emphasis could have been made on the main entree and sides enhancing the quality and tastiness of these dishes. So I would rate the meal as satisfactory but definitely not worth the price paid. Thanks Max and Bede for the great service provided.
Whoa; we started in Bosk for some drinks ; 3 gin and one non alcoholic - $75 dollars ! I get it ; great atmosphere and ferraris parked out front but really $20 for well gin? And some real Pompous people hanging out - wanna bees
I have now been at Bosk for a couple of times and have always been very happy with my experience there.
From beginning to end, the entire experience was top notch. The atmosphere was great. You could definitely get the sense that you're in a place that cares about every detail just by the looks of the place alone. That sentiment was further proven by our...server (J.M. I think he goes by). He was great at getting us excited for each course of our tasting menu. I personally appreciate when servers are able to describe in detail what it is that you're looking at before you chow down. Flavours were refined, plating was thoughtful, and the cost for the entire night was more than reasonable. I will definitely be there again.
My recent, surprise birthday dinner at Shangri-La’s Bosk, was second to none. Shahin, our server, and Marc, the Manager, were not only knowledgeable about the menu but also anticipated when and what we would need. It was a bitterly cold night, and we were seated...next to the window. I was offered a blanket, which I declined, but they left it beside me anyway; a few minutes later I was glad to have it. After an exquisite meal, Shahin brought us the dessert menu; our response was, “we enjoyed the meal so much and really have no room for dessert.” Marc overheard us and exchanged a look with Shahin and said, “See what we can do.” They returned shortly and brought us a dessert tasting-plate with Happy Birthday written on it and a small candle at the side. Marc said to me: “We are not going to sing but please enjoy this small dessert; it’s from us.” Every piece was heavenly! We finished it all without leaving a single crumb. Shahin walked up and gently reminded me, “You could blow out the candle now.” Oops! I was so distracted by the dessert that I forgot! Thank you, Marc and Shahin. Your caring service made my birthday an extra-memorable one!
