Industrie French Kitchen - Taupo

The food was delicious, and the service was quick. This restaurant gets quite busy during Saturday lunch hours. I opted to sit outside, which was a bit more tranquil and offered more space than indoors. The outdoor heaters made it comfortable. Inside, however, the tables are quite close together, making it feel a bit cramped. There's also not much space to navigate past the queue while exiting. Overall, the atmosphere is lovely.

What a discovery! At first, I thought Google Maps was leading us to a gas station, but to my surprise, we stumbled upon this fantastic French café. I was in the mood for a croissant for breakfast and figured we’d head into town like we usually do. However, the variety of pastries and other delightful offerings here surpasses most places in the city center. The café is bustling with energy and has a wonderful atmosphere. It's clear that the locals recognize this gem!

This cafe is absolutely lovely. The coffee was excellent, just as good as the best I've had in Melbourne. I ordered the pancakes, and they were perfect! The pink macaroons were a delightful addition. It probably has the best selection of cabinet food I've seen in New Zealand, all at great prices. Thank you, team!
