Plateau Eatery - Taupo

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant! We were on the hunt for a place with excellent seafood, and this choice was perfect. We began our meal with a seafood platter and ended with a few more oysters.

We enjoyed a celebratory dinner here and had an excellent experience. The service was fantastic, and the meal was delicious. We capped off the evening by the fire with dessert and port wine. The eight of us will certainly be returning!

The main courses and side dishes were generous in size and delicious, with the steaks cooked to perfection. We ended up ordering more than we could eat because the menu choices were just too tempting, but we couldn't resist trying the desserts! They were divine, especially the chocolate torte; the caramel beneath it was simply amazing! We even had to stop the kids from trying to lick the chocolate sauce off the plates – it was that good! We will definitely return the next time we’re in town and highly recommend this restaurant.

Had dinner here new years eve, we had no booking and they managed to give us a outside table which was great, the service was very good and we all enjoyed our meals, they seem to have a nice bar/restaurant flow going on... works well.

Very pleasant, really nice food, service alittle slow and had to keep asking for water, they weren't that great at noticing that your glass was empty.
