Contribuiți la feedbackWe visited on Friday night. We were glad we had reservations as most of the tables were full the entire time we were there. The margarita are still awesome. For an app, the chicken nachos were really good. My son got the lasagna and it was out of this world good. My pulled pork sliders were mediocre at best and my husband thought his chicken quesadillas were just OK. We will go back but we will all probably be eating the lasagna. The server took a bit to get to us and was a bit flustered. However, once he got to us, the service improved and we had a good experience.
Sierras was closed for a while and hasr recently reopened. We didn't notice much change, still very much looks the same. It has more light now, unfortunately with the white tiles that gives it a sterile ambiance. Some wall decoration would make a huge difference. Menu has changed dramatically, almost no Mexican dishes anymore. We tried the tex mex egg role appetizer, which was very good. The fish tacos were plenty and fine, but would benefit from a nice sauce on them. Wife had a dinner salad with shrimps, which she didn't like too much, hardly any dressing on the salad. Margaritas are good. All in all, an okay dinner but not much that draws me back here.
I really wanted to like this restaurant. Recently reopened, the staff was trying very hard and were very accommodating. The portions were large and tasty. If the acoustics were better, I would go back. The noise was deafening.
We were sorry to see the original Sierras close. While the food wasn't as good as it was a few years ago, they still has the best margaritas around. In the reopened restaurant, the food is well below par and the margaritas taste like they were made from a prepackaged mix. We live close by and we were looking forward to the reopening. We'll probably give it another shot in a few months but not a good experience.
I took my two kids, ages 9 and 12, to dinner at the newly renovated Sierras, and we had a fantastic meal. The interior is mostly similar to the old Sierras, just a fresh coat of paint, but the menu features plenty of new options. The kids absolutely loved the pulled pork sliders and the cheeseburger sliders, while I enjoyed the mushroom quesadilla, all of which were delicious. Our waitress was AMAZING! She connected wonderfully with the kids and asked all the right questions, like, "That comes with coleslaw; do you want that?" This was such a thoughtful question to prevent any disappointment later for a child who doesn't like coleslaw! Overall, it was a wonderful dinner experience!
