Sobre Mesa - Sudbury

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The staff was a bit absent at times, but overall they worked together well to ensure our needs were met. We attempted to buy gift cards after dinner, but the bartender told us to speak to the hostess who was busy chatting with customers at the bar. Great experience at Sobre Mesa this past Saturday. The quality of the food and the service was incredible, every single dish was delicious and service as great. For such a fun, festive environment with great food, it's a bit reserved and it really shouldn't be. Busy, but comfortable. Staff do their part to make people feel comfortable. We have been to this restaurant a few times now and we absolutely love it. In addition to providing chips and salsa, they offer a variety of salsas. We highly recommend ordering a large container of salsa Macha to go, toasting an English muffin, frying an egg, and topping it with the salsa. You won't be disappointed! The only thing that could make this place even better is if they offered brunch with margarita flights. Overall, we give the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect score of 5.

Our experience at Sobre Mesa was quite chaotic. We were seated outside where the heat lamps were not working and our candles weren't lit. Despite requesting blankets, they were not available. Three different servers took our order, and the guacamole was bitter. The beer was delivered without a glass, and when one was provided, it was taken away before I finished. The fajitas were too salty, so I asked for a Caesar salad instead. The owner offered to comp my meal, but the Caesar salad was overdressed and the shrimp was just as salty as the fajitas. To top it off, I was charged for the uneaten Caesar salad. Overall, a very disappointing experience. They were not accommodating to dietary restrictions when requested.
