I and my man have been going on and out for three years, after our last experience and the fact that I have gone to veganism, we will probably not go back. a few years ago my gi doctor had me on a gluten-free diet. I ordered the egg and aubergine plate and informed them that I was gluten-free and asked if they could put what they said yes, the egg and the aubergine is gluten-free. I got a partial salad containing gluten that I only noticed later. the restaurant did it right (they did not respond to my email and I ended a Yelp review about the incident) and the manager was really nice the next few times when I left. I removed the Yelp review and was in love with clover as always. I finally could finish this diet and have become an ethical vegan ever since. the plates are almost impossible to order vegan because most of the byhalates in them have been eating, and I have heard several layers of employees at various clover sites antagonist for vegan customers. her business model is to get carnivores to eat less meat to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions, so I think slapping cheese and eggs over everything is the answer for them. at our last visit was the music unstoppable loud and the place was absolutely ice cold. we could hardly hear that the person takes our order, which takes the order with a tablet and is kind of disgusting, where it looks like a cash, but not. (I guess they don't take money? I would check the chairs are ruthless and made of metal, according to echos and shreds throughout the restaurant. I feel that the mood was that people feel as uncomfortable as possible and go fast, even though we were the only people on a Saturday. a counter, to eat, designed for customers, is constantly recorded by boxes of sweet and food supplies. I would strongly recommend to go to their food and order through their app to pick it up. By the way, their app that they would prefer to order by just a crappy mobile website. since our last visit in the early juli they had no soda (we were informed that the coworker said still broken and patting a wallpaper-up tape that looked like a custom job, which is likely why it is still broken to find someone to repair it just a head’s up. updated by the previous review on 2021-07-26
I tried the “Chickpea Fritter” aka falafel in pita, better than most I had. memphi's hot pommes were also a joy. overall very filling portioned, large taste. love to see these youngs transition to fully vegan ingredients.
I had never eaten at a clover Labs site, until today - there are several in the larger Boston area. I was very impressed by the extremely friendly, fast and socially distant take-out service at this place. I ordered on the app that I was able to filter the menu to see vegan only options. I had the “Chickpea Fritter” sandwich and it was hearty, delicious and satisfying. the manager practiced social distancing and supported customers who order outside the load to ensure that their orders run smoothly. he mentioned that eating is local, with the widest import tofu coming from maine. I will definitely eat at clover labs more often!
I have been going to Clovers for a number of years mostly for lunch and dinner. Recently they shifted their mayo to an egg based mayo. There are far less options for vegans. Make sure you ask alot of questions. They use egg in their items with impossible burgers. Today was the 3rd time I left without ordering anything due to the lack of vegan salad options. I tried my luck yesterday and vegan sides are back!
