Raw Fish - St. Catharines

I visited this restaurant for the first time in a while tonight, and I won't be going back. The food was tasteless and seemed old. The staff was interesting, but it took 20 minutes for them to refill our water. When I mentioned my dissatisfaction with the meal, they tried to blame me for the price, even though I barely ate anything. They blamed a new cook and said they were busy, but the restaurant was mostly empty. The menu had poor choices. I recommend skipping this place and going to Wind instead. The food and service at Wind are much better. This restaurant was a waste of money, and I left feeling disappointed and still hungry.

Knew they changed the administration I went to have lunch with my family last week eating not well all the kitchen food so overdone and no taste of sushi rice so mad and hard, even the dim sums not properly tested you have changed the...management and also need the chefs

The food was okay at best, the fish was okay but didn’t taste fresh at all. Some things on the menu just shouldn’t have been served such as the rolls with seaweed salad in them, I gagged trying to eat those. Nevertheless some of the...food was good and made it worthwhile like the tempura which was nice and crispy but the wait was long and we had to ask multiple times when our food was going to come. Ended up ordering dessert because of the wait and got our dessert before some of the actual food came. Overall for me, the experience was okay, average at best. Personally there are better places to spend my money on.

The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious, especially the grilled octopus. I highly recommend it!

Do not visit this restaurant, the sushi is terrible and the staff is the worst. They are very rude and unprofessional.
