Subway - Springfield

After spending over $20 on two sandwiches, one of which was supposed to be toasted, I got home only to find it wasn’t toasted at all. The bread felt stale and tasted terrible. I do feel for the employee who was working alone; he was nice, but the food was the real issue. My family and I usually eat at Subway three times a week or more, but after this experience, I will NEVER return to any Subway. They’ve stopped offering flavored wraps, which I understand if they’re not popular anymore, but I would much prefer to go somewhere where I know the food will be good and, if it’s supposed to be toasted, actually be toasted. This was a total waste of money. I plan to share my experience on social media to warn others not to waste their money, especially at this location or any Subway for that matter. As a dissatisfied customer, I felt it was necessary to share my thoughts.

I don't eat out very often, but I decided to stop by Subway since it was nearby. Given the state of the world today, I wanted to mention that your employee, Marcus, who was working on August 1, 2022, at 8:50 PM, truly made my day. This young man was cheerful and took great pride in his work. Thank you, Marcus! Subway, please make sure he knows how much he is appreciated!

Reese and his coworker were quick and exceptionally friendly! The restaurant looked clean and vibrant after the remodel. While the quality of the vegetables can sometimes vary, I truly enjoy the food overall.

Food was great but the service was awful. We didn't get no napkins and when we wanted some there wasn't no one up there to get some. And there was a really creepy guy working there named Reece. He was super rude and he would stare into your soul as youorder.

I felt bad for the guy working alone; he was nice, but the food was the real issue. We usually eat at Subway three times a week, but after this experience, I won't be returning to any Subway again. They've also stopped offering their spiced wraps, which I can understand if people aren't ordering them, but I'd rather go to a place where I know the food is actually good and properly prepared. It was a total waste of money, and I will definitely be warning others on social media not to waste their money here or at similar places. I am very dissatisfied.
