Thai Emperor - Springfield

The food can be really good, not excellent but really good. The young wait people are extremely good. But.... management does not listen to the customer. We do not want to be rushed and this is the biggest problem. We have asked for a break between the entrees and main course. Main course comes immediately after entrees or even while we are still eating entrees. We have tried ordering entrees only, saying we will choose the main course later. The owner keeps sending the wait person back to our table to get our main course order, he has even come to the table and asked us if we have a problem ordering the main course. I have explained in the past that there is a medical reason as to why we need a break between courses. However, I should not have to do that. The owner should respect the customer's request for a break between courses. Finally, on our most recent visit we asked for some plain soy sauce. We were given a tiny bowl with about a tablespoon of soy sauce, we were charged $1 for this. Sadly, we will not go back.

If you want great food and great services, this is the place to go for a Thai food. If you want some entertainment as well, Come down and see Jimmy the man of the hour. Up beat service and great recommendations.

Jimmy and Jill cook amazing food and are always willing to accommodate my celiac family with gluten free. The food is amazing and they are beautiful people as well.

I absolutely love Thai Emperor. It is by far the best Thai restaurant in the area. The food is delicious and Jill and Jimmy are amazing hosts. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Jimmy and the family are rhe friendliest people you'll meet. The meal I had was unreal and exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend dining here.
