Spring Lake Hotel - Springfield

Food was below average nice staff and hotel however, food is not good. We ordered pizza chicken burger and steak sandwich. Pizza was like a frozen one from the local supermarket! We didn’t eat steak sandwich it was overcooked and just not good. Chicken burger was just ok. Wouldn’t go back for food just for drinks as staff are lovely . Pitty really

1) We paid $575 for platters, but the portions were much smaller than advertised and not enough to feed 10 people. For example, a hot platter only had 4-5 pies and sausage rolls. 2) The quality of the platters was poor, with cold food, stale slider buns, and cold seafood. The only decent dish was the dry chicken skewers. 3) The double booking of our venue completely ruined our experience, which should never have happened. 4) The service started off well but then we were forgotten about, and the platters were not served at the requested times. We received our sliders at 8:30pm. 5) There was no effort to clean up the plates, and the mess remained until we left. I would never book here again and would not recommend this venue for functions. It's disappointing because we have been regular customers for years.

I had a fantastic time at trivia night last night. The service was very friendly and the food was delicious. Sharni provided excellent service and was extremely helpful.

My group went to this restaurant for dinner on Saturday, December 11th. We all ordered at the same time using the table's order and pay system. Four of the meals came out quickly, but my wife and I had to wait 35 minutes. By the time our meals arrived, everyone else had finished eating. I asked to speak to the manager about the poor service, but all I got was a smile and an explanation that their system can cause delays if people on the same table order and pay separately. I don't agree that such long waits are acceptable just because it's their system. I would not recommend eating here unless everyone at your table orders at the same time.

Received wrong order and when brought to waitress attention was told thats what you ordered and was dismissed was very rude food that was received was disgusting would not return (there was another table waitress who was very nice and apologetic just before we left and offered us a free coffee but we declined and left)
