Piccolo - Skerries

Some spinach cappelletti, really delicious, like eating at your grandmother 's house! The apple strudel, incredible, reminded me of 'pastelón ' from A Mariña, in Galicia, Spain, a kind of sweet apple empanada, the waitresses are attentive and friendly, I will definitely return.

Small, tiny but very cozy place in Skerries. Plenty pictures in Italian style hanging on the wall. Place is very, very clean and it was a pleasant surprise. Tableware and cutlery were of high quality what also pleasant surprises. The food was ok, as we ordered an omelette with ham and onions but we didn’t expect to see fresh whole onion inside. If you don’t like so much onions and specially fresh not fried, ask a waiter do not out onions. Scrambled eggs with salmon were small portions and overpriced. Prices in general are overpriced and that’s probably the place us not busy or popular. The worst unfortunately was service. Three people waiters are working and can’t look after one table. We have finished our breakfast and we were editing about 20 min that someone will come to collect dirty plates but unfortunately nobody came and I ask them to collect it. Coffee was delicious. The only thing apart service I was missing Italian music. I will give one more chance to come to try fresh pasta gif the dinner before I will call it hidden gem or disappoint.

Best restaurant in Skerries for delicious food. Chef excellent and staff on top of their game. We had a large number in our party and all served at the same time. Loved, loved, loved it

Great place to eat- menu is cooked from scratch.We sampled the 3 starters they were all delicious same as the mains. Will definitely eat here again.

Had lunch with family and friends here today and we were genuinely blown away with the quality of the food. Giorgio (owner and head chef) even made a special pasta carbona for our two young daughters even though it wasn’t on the menu. Everything was authentic and delicious and great value for money. The home made Italian pana cotta with mint and chocolate ice cream is worth returning for alone! Can’t wait to come back for dinner another time. Would highly recommend Piccolo Trattoria in Skerries.
