Karmela - Sitges

I had read on TripAdvisor that, as you cannot book, you must arrive early to get a table this was true! They open at 8pm and we arrived at 7:45pm to join a small queue as Karmela and the staff laid out the tables. She seated us just before 8pm and the tables filled instantly, leaving a queue waiting for tables when we were finished. The location is a dream set in the town surrounded by cobbled streets and pretty buildings, but with a view of the sea down the street. The evening we went was windy and was forecast for rain. The staff went above and beyond to ensure all tables were sheltered. Additionally, for the people waiting in the queue, they brought down emergency tables and chairs and placed them wherever they could, also still under shelter, to ensure they could host as many people as possible. We were waited on instantly and gave our drinks order which arrived quickly. We were then waited on for our food order when the drinks arrived. The service was impressive given that they had to serve 10+ tables at once. We ordered the pan con tomato, fried fish (anchovies), mussels marinara, garlic shrimp and hot potatoes. My favourite was the fried fish and the garlic shrimp we had to order more bread to soak up the sauce from the shrimp, it was amazing. My partner’s favourite was also the garlic shrimp, however also loved the mussels as they were huge and fresh. For dessert, we ordered the homemade coconut pudding and the catalan creme both were incredible, but the coconut pudding was like nothing I’ve had before and have craved it since. All staff were amazing friendly, helpful and attentive and they couldn’t do more for you. I absolutely would recommend this place!

Cozy place. carmen, the owner, can't be more credible. Makes you sit home. He was attentive to every detail and made us the unbeatable experience. all this is transmitted to the food. homemade and very good. to finish, it has garlic prices. It's a fixed place in the chairs, at least for us.

Although small is a restaurant that has good service, attentive, effective and fast. the place is good to eat for this with shade and fresh. well prepared and presented. the price is within the acceptable. Just the bread detail a little high. I recommend it. the menu in the photos.

I love this place, I sat with distrust for being so well located and in the tourist area, but only the reception was beautiful, all very good recommending the chazuelite karma, karma and the razors. They were very good and the best attention! People are a sun! I'm sure I repeat
