Troy Mediterranean Cuisine - Savannah

This was our first visit to the restaurant, and we had a wonderful experience. To start, we ordered the hummus and avgolemono soup, both of which were absolutely delicious and I would definitely order them again. For my main course, I had the falafel plate, which was good. The falafel wasn't overly greasy and had a nice flavor overall. However, I found the tzatziki a bit too thin and lacking the strong dill flavor, which I personally prefer. I ended up enjoying my falafel with the hummus from the appetizer. The service was quick and very friendly. We would definitely return and are looking forward to trying many more items from their menu.

Great atmosphere and great food. This is one of our go to places for a nice birthday dinner. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Their gyro meat is made in house with a 50/50 blend of lamb and beef and seasoned to perfection. I also had the spicy lamb burger which wasn't very spicy. Its mostly just crushed red chili flakes that give it the flavor. And every desert there is delicious, especially the honey dew cake which the only make every now and then.

Food was delicious and authentic. However prices are on the high end. Their lamb shank is the only halal option, per the owners, and we took their word for it. Mix meze was nice. Meal portions were a good size. Service was good but you are assigned to a certain person and you have to wait for her to be available to even ask for a minor stuff. Overall, I would recommend this place but expect to spend more than you would in a similar restaurant.

After passing by this restaurant for years, I finally decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the food; don't let the exterior fool you! This gem has been open for 17 years. It was busy on Saturday evening, as is typical in Savannah, but that’s a good sign of quality. The staff was friendly, and our server Chris was particularly energetic. Both the food and the service were top-notch. I would definitely return to this place, largely because of the warm welcome we received from Chris.

The atmosphere here is incredible. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by delightful aromas wafting through the air. The staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and there's an extensive selection of wines to choose from. You'll definitely leave feeling satisfied! My server, Hristo, was not only friendly but also very accommodating and made me laugh. Thank you, Troy!
