Bridges - Sarnia

Ate here because I arrived late to the hotel and didn't feel like going out. I had the Penne Bolognese. It was OK, if a bit bland - nothing special. The garlic bread on the side was cold but they replaced it when I mentioned it.

Went to restaurant for light dinner and had a choice of sandwich or dinner menu. My husband had Shepherd's Pie which was very good, and I had fish tacos - crispy coated pickerel and shrimp....yummy

Best Food and Service. Never disappointed even when it's years between visits. Wouldn't miss the opportunity to have dinner here. It's in a Holiday Inn! That chef and team belong in 5 star big city establishment.

We enjoyed our dinner one evening with wine. Attentive service and didn't worry about driving. We had the French Onion soup and didn't need anything more. I was disappointed with the garlic bread (not enough garlic for the pleasure)We also had our breakfast here. You can order from the menu or the buffet which is what we had. Many items to choose from.

Second day of training and the hotel staff informed me that I got 10% off on meals at the restaurant because I was at training in one of their conference rooms. Sounds good to me so I went. I had the Freighter burger with Swiss and bacon and it was one of the best burgers I've had in a very long while. Well cooked, nice and juicy, soft bun and fresh toppings. Definitely worth another visit in the future to try some other menu items.
