John's Restaurant - Sarnia

Wow! We drove to Sarnia to see a specialist and decided to find a restaurant for lunch. I asked the staff at the office for a recommendation and they suggested "John's Restaurant". I had the chicken cheese dish and my spouse had the fish tacos. It was the best meal we had in a long time! The service was excellent, thanks to Mevlude (MAY)!!! The atmosphere was wonderful too.

Lived place and waiter employees seem to be on things. Our table of 3 was quick to sit, we all had drinks in our hand fast and our food orders were surprisingly fast as well. After the breakfast menu, we decided on Burger and Poutine. When I visited my burger, a clear watery substance driped on my plate (like a river) for at least 30 seconds. I don't know what that was. Long story short the Koleslaw was actually hotter than the poutins and the burgers were. The best guess is as soon as the order was received, the kitchen put the salad and poutin on the plate and under the heat lamp, and underboiled the burger. (The severity had developed a crust as if it sat for a while). Will probably be back to John's, but with this is the 2nd or 3. Once an order of burgers has come cold, will stay with one of the breakfast options.

John's has been a staple in Sarnia for as long as I can remember. Every time I visit the city, I make it a point to eat there, and I am never disappointed. If you're looking for delicious home-cooked meals, John's is the place to go!
