The Capital Grille - Sarasota

The ambience is great, the server is great. The big part of the food. Quality not too good at the price. The biscuit is great, not much bread. Nevertheless, we had a good dinner.

I put my older mother in for a nice lunch. We sat at the bar because the high-top chairs were easier for them to get out. Service was prompt, friendly and professional. The atmosphere was quiet enough for a good conversation. We ordered a Ribeye Steak sandwich and a Zartoin slider. Both steaks were very good!

A friend of mine and I took a friend to lunch to celebrate her 27th wedding anniversary. She and her husband were visiting from Atlanta and he was playing in a member-guest golf tourney?.so it was up to the wives to celebrate! We settled on Capital Grille and it was a solid decision! We chose to be seated outside and enjoyed the nice Spring breeze and temperature. Our server was adorable! As in made our tasty lunch even better because of his fun personality. My Cobb salad was out of this world good. I opted for grilled chicken instead of red meat. Cooked to perfection it was! We had a glass of Prosecco to toast the occasion then enjoyed a rosé with lunch. When we were seated they had sprinkled festive tiny metallic hearts and there was a personalized note with happy anniversary wishes. Then our server surprised us all with a complimentary dessert and 3 spoons of course! Such classy details. I think it would be tough to be a chain restaurant and keep the standards high and interest up. But I have to tell you, I?ll definitely be back. No matter where I might be!!!

My husband made us reservations for our first wedding anniversary. We had never before, together or individually, so we were thrilled to try a new experience. From the FOH staff at the door, to our server, to the Sous cook, everyone was beautiful. They had some elegant little confetti on the table when we arrived, which was so sweet. Mary took care of us and she was extraordinary! She has the kind of personality that makes you feel like an old friend. She made great recommendations and made us feel special. We loved the free dessert and champagne surprise. Besides the atmosphere, the food was excellent. All we have ordered (and we have definitely made our way around the menu) was delicious and perfectly cooked. The restaurant is well managed. Everything was very smooth and we enjoyed our time tonight. Definitely won?

Wonderful experience! Our server Jesus was great. He helped us get the perfect dinner. Our food was cooked perfectly and full of taste. This was our first time in this special large grill and it was probably the best experience we had with one. Very recommended.
