Noto didn't impress me with either the ambiance or the food. They had a limited selection of Peruvian dishes, and I was charged $3.00 for the hot sauce.

I was reluctant to try Selva Grill since I'm a very plain eater, but, I was amazingly surprised at the wonderful presentation, service and quality. The short ribs were the best I've ever had and the tuna ceviche was incredible. Definitely going back and this time I'm taking the whole family. Inside dining was a little too noisy so we tried outdoor dining. Unfortunately, traffic noise was a problem, but, nothing could dampen the quality of the food and service.

I recently dined at this upscale restaurant with my family and friends, and I was impressed by its fusion kitchen and creative dishes. The atmosphere was sophisticated and elegant, with top-notch service. However, I have to note that the prices are quite high, and the portions are very small. While the food was delicious, I felt that the portion sizes didn't quite justify the cost. Nevertheless, if you're looking for a special occasion spot or are willing to splurge, this restaurant is definitely worth a try.

So many places buckle under their own hype, but this place delivers the goods, 100%. Totally primo. Totally satisfying. For the uber-quality, it seemed completely worth it.Upscale vibe without feeling overly forced.Our waiter, Juan, was sincere and gave elegant service without being patronizing in any way.It was great! We will surely return the next time we are in Sarasota.Some areas that could be tuned up:1) I'd prefer it without the TV screen in the bar area, but I can live with it. I think it would be better if it was dimmer.2) Your bartenders need to know how to make a Sazerac. I was surprised they could not. It would fit so well with the vibe you are creating. I think you could offer more creative cocktails.

Overall, this is a decent restaurant by Sarasota standards, featuring excellent ceviche. However, our dinner experience had its ups and downs. It began with a glass of flat champagne, which was disappointing. It feels like they don't give enough credit to their customers' expectations. Since we chose to order two appetizers instead of an appetizer and a main course, they served them on one plate, which was a bit unusual. When we asked for bread, we were informed it would take twenty minutes, which felt quite off-putting. The service was rather rude until we ordered a bottle of champagne. On a positive note, the food was well-prepared; the only downside was that the mashed potatoes were served cold.
