Been to this place over the years, and things were usually ok in terms of the food. But recently, I picked up some pizza and after eating had very bad stomach pain for 4 days; it literally woke me up in the morning. It wasn 't minor. It was enough for me to call the owner and basically tell him I had a bad experience. I didn 't plan on writing a review at all actually, and wanted to be direct that I was dissatisfied. So I figured I 'd call. The guy couldn 't even talk for one second and was so defensive he hung up on me twice. My point wasn 't to pick a fight, it was to say as a customer that I had an issue with the latest pizza order. The guy was/is so rude though all he could do was run away from the conversation and blame me for trying something. Pathetic experience and a joke of a business owner. Better pizza and customer service elsewhere.

The best pizza in Sarasota, without a doubt. We’ve been looking for a place that isn’t too doughy or overly charred, and this one hits the mark! The sauce truly elevates it. Make sure to try the Hawaiian. It’s carry-out only, but it stays piping hot until you get home.

The owner, who is an elderly gentleman, is the sole person running the place. If you're looking for the best pizza in Sarasota, I highly recommend it to everyone. Keep in mind, though, that there's no table service, no traditional restaurant setup, and no staff — it's a very simple operation. But the food is excellent, excellent, excellent!
