Kona Grill - Sarasota

Well, I have to say we were a little disappointed with our Sunday brunch experience. We have always seen advertisements for groundless mimoses and their super Sunday brunch, so we decided to review it. We only ordered our Mimosas for the waiter to tell us that they are not groundless, but we have to order through the glass. $9 ea. First, the brunch menu is very limited. Nothing really silly about what they offer. However, 3 dishes with spam.... Yes, spam? Prices are also at the top. I ordered the traditional eggs Benedict and my fiancée ordered 2 eggs over easy with bacon and potatoes. My dish was fine, except a little slashed on the Hollandaise sauce. His eggs were cooked. We asked them to bring out a new record that lasted forever and they were not so busy. When his second dish arrived, the eggs were now sunny side up and not over easy. The English muffin was burned at the edges and the bacon was cooked. When we got our bill, we noticed that she had $12 for the mimosas and not $9 as our waiter had told us. We talked to the manager and she adapted the charges, but we were quite disappointed by the overall experience and probably 't be back... at least not for brunch.

This Kona Grill is located in the UTC Mall in Sarasota. The sushi rolls we ordered were okay. Our service was nice. Our server was not fully familiar with the options on the menu or the additional sauces they offer. The ambience was quite loud. My husband and I have the whole snout on the next divorce of a lady from a part of four who are sitting aross by us. The music was soft and didn't drown much noise. The decor is attractive, but the plastic barriers need a lot of cleaning and maintenance. The menu is HUGE! It's not a good value for money. It's a bit expensive to dine here for what you get.

The restaurant is amazing, the atmosphere is very nice the Mimosas on Saturday are groundless and they are very good the bartender is on point! For the pricing of the food it is not so good because the food is a very greed, it could use much more seasoning! So you pay a lot for something that is not so pleasant to eat. Otherwise! The waiters are amazing!! Try it yourself!

My wife and I visited Kona Grill for the first time during our trip to Sarasota. It was really a pleasant experience. We enjoyed a great dinner with what was most likely the best service we received during our visit to Sarasota. Manager Jose Soto came our table and went beyond and beyond with customer service on our first visit to Kona Grill Great and delicious food and great environment definitely worth every penny.

Me and my wife stopped in for dessert and got the butter cake! It was so good! Soft and fluffy with great taste the ice cream went well with it along with the fruit paste. Really great dessert to share with your significant other or the table.
