Chipotle Mexican Grill - San Jose

This is a fantastic restaurant with a wide variety of delicious food to try. The bowls are especially tasty. The service is quick, and the staff is wonderful!

Standard Chipotle but 1 star removed since they constantly stiff your portions when ordering online. Asked for extra rice, three times, normal portion each time. And once asked for a tortilla on the side and I almost left with a small soft taco tortilla instead because I felt the bag was lighter than normal (was also missing extra rice).

Look at the meat before you choose! I usually order steak and didn’t even look but it was superrrrr dry, supppperrr chewy and hard. Tastes like it was cooked in the morning and was left out til dinner time… disappointed but not always like this here. However, what is consistent is that they do skimp on the portion. I normally have to order and pay for double meat to offset the other stuff.

If you want to wait in line for 5 minutes while three employees stand around chatting making one order while never greeting you or igknowledging a new customer then this is your place, I dont have high standards but as a frontline customer service employee come on. Didnt think chipotle was a union job.

Ordered in advance online no indication that I would have to wait outside for my food. they locked the door so that people wouldn’t go in because they were “short staffed” there were four workers inside
