Cheesecups Bánh Mì Chè Café Viet

Made a pit stop here on our way to LA for a quick on the road snack. The shop is relatively small but they offer an abundance of options from snacks, boba and even rice/noodle dishes! We stopped in primarily for the banh mi and it didn't miss. The banh mi was average sized and was large enough to split between two. The bread was soft and delicious while the veggies were fresh! Solid joint for a quick snack/banh mi!

Ordered the filet mignon steak garlic noodles and filet mignon steak egg bahn mi.The garlic noodles had barely any meat. The seasoning on the meat and the noodles were both lacking entirely.The bahn mi didn't have any picked veggies. It barely had any beef.

I went to Vietnam in April and tried avocado and coconut ice cream for the first time and I absolutely loved it. It's also known as kem bo Da Lat. When I found out that Cheesecups offers the specialty drink, I had to go try it. Let's just say, I have an addiction to it and I got it four times already in the last few weeks. It is absolute perfection and it's the perfect summer treat. Let me tell you what's in it. By the way, if you order on the kiosk tablet, you can customize the dessert drink in any way that you want including the sweetness, ice level and add other toppings. It includes a creamy avocado smoothie, shaved ice, crystal boba, two scoops of coconut ice cream and chopped peanuts. Combined together, it is like tropical heaven! After having this, it just makes me want another one and another one and another one. It's that addicting! They also sell sandwiches and other snacks at the shop. I think their sandwiches are simple and nothing to rave about but their drinks are spectacular. Service is very friendly and they communicate very well and they package everything very well also. I am all for small businesses and this is a small business that I am definitely going to be supporting a lot! Now I want the avocado coconut ice cream drink.

Imagine this. Youre a restaurant that sells high quality food and two dudes show up after a 7 mile hike 20 minutes prior to closing. You're going to probably wish you closed earlier. Being one of those two sweaty dudes, I'm glad that they were not closed. I'm fiercely out of shape and was much in need of sustenance, and boy did this banh mi deliver. I got the honey chicken banh mi with extra protein and it was fantastic. The bread crunched on the outside while the honey mayo provided a different texture on the inside. I love love love how they sliced their jalapeños the long way as well (btw do not scratch your eye after eating one of these). The spice was so pleasant and pickled veggies amazing. The meat was so great I wish I asked for two extra portions instead of just one. Anyways, great banh mis, definitely come here. Preferably not 20 mins before closing...

We decided to give this place a chance upon a friends recommendation. I'm so happy we dropped by for food! We ordered: Seasoning Intestine Banh Mi (very unique) BBQ Pork Banh Mi Calamari 2 coffee boba drinks Both sandwiches were really good! I never tried a Banh Mi with intestine so I thought I might as well go for it. Definitely worth trying if you already like intestine Their calamari was surprisingly really good! Nicely seasoned and crispy. I'm not sure whether or not we will return (because there's so many Banh Mi places in SJ) but I'm happy this place was better than expected
