Roosters - Rock Island

I've eaten here several times and often it's by myself. Seating can be very limited in the bar area. The craft beer options are written on chalkboards that are near the ceiling and difficult to read but the menu offerings are always fresh and delicious. I've had most of their salads and I would put them up against anything in the Charlotte area. Anything that the grill that has that smoky flavor is delicious.

Believe it has undergone a management change. Food has improved. Nice outdoor patio for summer

Brought the family here after hearing about how great the food is from coworkers. We had a great time, amazing service from Taylor and amazing cooking by Lil Jeff. We can't wait to be back!

I've heard incredible things about the wings at Rooster's. Why I didn't order those, I'll never know. My food was mediocre, but I liked the 25 cent drafts they had a few Fridays ago. The other great thing about Rooster's was that there was a real community vibe going on. The owners mingled with the patrons and it seemed like there were lots of regulars in the crowd. The buffalo chicken wrap was entirely forgettable. I can make a better one at home. My friend ordered an appetizer sampler that cost $12 and came out with about two onion rings, two fried mushrooms, and two fried pickles. He shared his disappointment with the owner who quickly took it back to the kitchen and eventually brought it back out with about 3 times as much food as before. Two friends ordered a house salad about 20 minutes apart. The first looked awesome, the second was much smaller and adorned with a lot fewer veggies and other extras. Another friend ordered a chicken sandwich that looked great. I would definitely come back to Rooster's for a drink and wings, but am hesitant to recommend the dinner menu. The food doesn't seem to be prepared consistently well; however, my friends and I still had a pretty fun night.
