Whitey's Ice Cream - Rock Island

Whitney's has some of the best ice creams I've ever tasted, and it's not overly expensive like other plants. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

Best ice cream in town. Everything's great. Personal recommendation: Coffee ice cream with brownie.

Great place for vanilla. Try it! Otherwise, you mixed a milkshake or malt with a few goodies. Chocolate Blueberry Malt. They did.

A new building in an old location. Why is has been our Quad Cities fixture for decades. Right next door is the competition, country style. The Story Goes that the two ice cream places belong to Two Brothers in the same business, next door to each other. Both have plenty of enthusiasts. Ways boasts the best traditional ice cream, with the wide selection of menu choices, flavors, and popular specials. If traditional ice cream is your preference then Whitey's is the place to go. Originally they just had one location on 23rd Avenue in Moline but now have branched out and many locations and even in several surrounding communities. Whitey's is the best of their category in the area, and they post that they're the finest ice cream in the world! For several years Whitey's ice cream has been available in grocery stores, and even branched out in a wide area, in Far flung locations around the country.
