Whitey's Ice Cream - Moline

Whitey's used to be the go-to spot for ice cream in the Quad Cities. However, the delicious treat now costs as much as a full meal on the menu. It is almost the same price to buy a pint of ice cream as it is to get a single scoop. It took me nearly 3-4 minutes to get an employee to ring me up for a pint from the in-store freezer. Even worse, a manager was free and made eye contact with me several times before realizing I was waiting for service, despite waving the pint and my debit card at him. The store was clean, but the service was lacking. Unfortunately, the service and prices are driving me away from them. I fear that if they continue on this path, they will only continue to push customers away and ultimately go out of business.

Amazing service at the counter! The staff greeted us as soon as we walked in and gave us the space we needed to choose our meal. We will definitely make a point to visit this restaurant every time we are in town.

My order was incorrect at this restaurant as they put chocolate syrup on my banana split.

The black cherry ice cream cone I had tasted as though it had been affected by freezer burn.

Great customer service. The ice cream was excellent.. When I visit Moline again, I definitely will be back..
