Agave Azul Mexican Grill - Roanoke

We sat at the bar and enjoyed a frosty, oversized mug of ice-cold Miller Lite on tap. The jumbo signature Margherita was beautiful! The homemade tortilla chips were fantastic. For dinner, we had the tacos (pork and chicken) which were slow-cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the Roanoke, Virginia area!

The al pastor tacos were even better than my own. If only they had pineapple on top!

I read some previous reviews and I'm really glad I didn't pay attention to all the negative comments. The food was fantastic, the service was exceptional, and the waitstaff couldn't have been friendlier. I noticed complaints about the servers not being engaging; it's clear that for some of them, English is a second language, which can make them feel self-conscious. Criticizing the waitstaff for not being engaging reflects poorly on those who posted those negative reviews. My waiter was extremely kind and offered excellent recommendations. I also saw complaints about the speed of service, but our appetizers arrived in less than ten minutes after we ordered, and our main courses came out less than two minutes after we finished our appetizers. This place is truly outstanding, and it's unfortunate to see so many complaints in reviews. My impression is that no matter how hard a restaurant tries, some people will never be satisfied. This place is a hidden gem, and I'm grateful for the quality of the food and the prompt service.

Simply awesome, our server was really attentive and very courteous, amazing food, entrance looks outstanding and really gives an elegant vibe, we loved it and we hope we can come back!, superb experience!!!
